The pair of PA1 Active Unidirectional Antennas from Samson
are log-periodic dipole array (LPDA) antennas that are designed to
improve wireless reception. They can be used to focus the pickup pattern
towards the desired coverage area increasing the overall range of your
wireless system and reducing unwanted RF from surrounding locations and
sources. The paddle antennas cover a bandwidth of 470 to 980 MHz
frequency range. This allows them to be utilized for multi-band and
frequency-agile wireless systems. The PA1 antennas are compatible with
Synth 7 and Concert 99 wireless systems as well as any wireless receiver
or antenna distribution system that delivers 9 to 15 VDC bias.
Furthermore,
each antenna is built with a BNC connector and integrated amplifier
that compensates for signal loss in coaxial cables, long cable runs, or
when using RF splitters. The PA1 antennas can be mounted on a stand,
ceiling, or wall mount using the included US and Euro mic stand
adapters, and swivels.
