The 18 Sound 8M400FC is a high-quality mid-range speaker, engineered for professional audio applications. Its curvilinear cone, crafted from high damping wood pulp, is optimized for linearity within its frequency range. The speaker features a 51 mm Interleaved Sandwich Voice coil (ISV) made on a strong fibreglas former, enhancing force transmission and power handling. The powerful magnet assembly ensures high flux concentration, optimizing the force factor and power handling. This speaker is equipped with a copper ring to linearize the impedance curve, improving heat dissipation and reducing power compression.
