Need Floor-Hugging Fog Without Dry Ice? Meet the Mister Kool EP

A regular fog machine can fill a room, but what if your event calls for fog that stays close to the floor? For wedding first dances, theatrical scenes, Halloween productions, and atmospheric DJ setups, a low-lying fog machine can create a completely different visual effect. The ADJ Mister Kool EP delivers that floor-hugging look using water-based fog fluid and ice cubes rather than requiring dry ice or a separate fog chiller.

What Is the ADJ Mister Kool EP?

The Mister Kool EP is a portable low-lying fog machine designed to create a dry-ice-style effect. Its 700W heater reaches operating temperature in approximately three minutes, while the machine can produce an output of 3,000 cubic feet per minute. The result is fog designed to remain low to the ground instead of quickly rising through the room.

One of its biggest advantages is its operating method. The machine uses standard water-based fog fluid together with ice cubes, with an ice hopper capable of holding up to 4 pounds of ice. That makes it a practical option for users who want a low fog effect without using dry ice.

Key Features and Benefits

• 700W heater: Provides the heating power needed for the fog system and has a stated three-minute warm-up time.
• Low-lying output: Designed specifically to keep fog close to the floor for a dry ice-style appearance.
• Ice-based cooling: Uses ice cubes and water-based fog fluid instead of requiring dry ice or a separate fog chiller.
• 3,000 CFM output: Provides substantial fog output for atmospheric applications.
• 12-foot wired timer remote: Includes On/Off, continuous, and manual controls plus interval and duration adjustment.
• Easy drainage: A built-in water drainage system directs melted ice water into the supplied plastic bag.

These features make the Mister Kool EP particularly appealing because it combines portable low-lying fog, straightforward operation, and practical cleanup in one compact unit. Its integrated carry handle and metal construction also make transportation between event locations easier.

Real-World Applications

The Mister Kool EP is suited to several U.S. event-production scenarios:

Weddings: Create the popular “dancing on a cloud” effect during a first dance.

DJs and event entertainers: Add a distinctive atmospheric element to receptions, parties, and special events.

Theatrical productions: Produce floor-level fog for stage scenes and atmospheric effects.

Halloween events: The manufacturer specifically highlights its suitability for “grave yard” effects.

Live performances: Its compact design makes it useful when atmospheric equipment needs to be moved between venues.
