Allen & Heath ME-U 10-Port PoE Audio Hub for ME-1 and ME-500 Personal Mixers
ME-U is a touring grade, 10 port PoE hub providing power and audio to multiple ME-1 and/or ME-500 personal mixers.
ME-U’s input card allows quick and easy integration with Allen & Heath’s digital mixers, powering up to 10 ME Personal Mixers via PoE.
Fitting a Dante or MADI option card to the ME-U allows users of other digital mixer brands to feed up to 40 sources to ME-1s, or up to 16 sources to ME-500s.

Allen & Heath Mixers
If you’re using Allen & Heath digital consoles, ME-U gives you the option to take your ME system to the next level of professionalism, eliminating the clutter of separate power supplies for each directly connected ME-1 or ME-500 unit and providing a high quality, road-proven alternative to standard PoE hubs.
3rd Party Mixers & Interfaces
If you’re using other console brands, ME-U is your gateway to the ME system, with MADI, Dante and DiGiCo DMI option cards allowing a digital feed of up to 40 sources from third party systems
Scalable
As Big (Or Small) As You Need
The ME system can scale effortlessly from one mixer to hundreds.
ME-1 and ME-500 mixers connected directly to the ME-U are powered via PoE. Additional ME-1 and ME-500 mixers can be daisy-chained and powered via external PSU. Multiple ME-U hubs can be daisy-chained together if more than 10 ports are required.
3rd Party Connection
ME in the Studio
When fitted with the appropriate option card, the ME-U can be connected to a MADI or Dante equipped audio interface for use in recording studios, bringing all the benefits of the ME Personal Mixing System to recording musicians and engineers.

ARCHITECTS & ENGINEERS SPECIFICATIONS
The device shall be a 10-port hub with PoE capability for use with ME-1 and ME-500 personal monitoring mixers. 40 audio sources plus channel naming and stereo link status shall be received automatically from compatible Allen & Heath mixers and broadcast to connected ME-1 And ME-500 mixers. 16 audio sources shall be received from compatible Aviom® A-Net 16 devices.
The device shall incorporate 10 outputs with locking EtherCON connectors on the front panel for connection to ME-1 and ME-500 personal monitoring mixers using standard Cat5 cabling. The front panel outputs shall be capable of providing 15w per output via PoE to power directly connected ME-1 and ME500 mixers.
The device shall incorporate an input port on the front panel. The input port shall include a removable digital input card to allow direct connection to dLive, SQ, Qu, GLD and iLive digital mixers in addition to Aviom® A-Net 16 sources. The removable card shall feature a locking EtherCON RJ45 connector.
The device shall accept M-DANTE, M-MADI and M-WAVES2 digital audio networking cards to facilitate connection to third party digital audio systems. The digital audio networking cards shall be fitted into the front panel input port.
The device shall feature an RJ45 socket to allow connection of a Windows or Apple computer for browser based configuration.
The device shall be suitable for freestanding or 19” rack mounted operation. The device shall be mounted via integrated 19” rack ears and shall occupy 2U of rack space.
The device shall have a built-in power supply with a rear-panel on/off switch and shall be capable of accepting 100-240V AC via an IEC cable. The device shall have a maximum power consumption of 250W. Recommended operating temperature for the device shall be 5 to 35 degrees Celsius.
